Speeding cars at school dropoff — please install a stop sign on Bath

Every weekday morning between 7:45 and 8:15 there are cars blowing through the intersection of Bath and Sola at clearly 30+ mph. This is a school dropoff route for two elementary schools and Santa Barbara Junior High. I've watched two near-misses with kids on bikes in the last month. We don't need a study, we need a four-way stop or speed bumps before someone gets killed. Other neighborhoods in the city have gotten traffic calming installed this year — what does it take for ours to get the same? Happy to organize neighbors to attend a meeting.
