Gas at $5.69/gal — what is Sacramento doing?

Gas hit $5.69 a gallon at the Mobil on Milpas yesterday. I'm a nurse and my commute is 40 miles round trip. I'm spending more than $400 a month on gas alone. That's more than our internet, phones, and streaming combined. I know the state gas tax is a big chunk of the price. I'm asking you directly: will you support suspending or rolling back the state excise tax until prices come down? Working families in your district can't keep absorbing this.
